Today is National Puppy Day and It’s Glorious

Today, March 23rd, is National Puppy Day. Thanks to mihaifrancu on YouTube, you can celebrate with the adorable video of puppies just being puppies.

National Puppy Day is intended to help raise awareness for all those pups that were orphaned one way or another. Many times they end up as strays in neighborhoods, in the animal shelter, or the worst, abandoned and left for dead.

However, there is good news because all bad things can have a good ending. There is light at the end of the tunnel for these pups, and you can get in on the action. There are many organizations in San Angelo that help these orphaned pups into loving FurEver homes.

Concho Valley PAWS works closely with the City of San Angelo to provide foster homes for pets, raise funds to help spay and neuter animals, and they have tons of ways you can get involved and save a pet's life.

West Texas Angels for Animals is a non-profit volunteer run organization that works with ever organization to help spread the word of pets looking for homes. They provide videos, information, kennel numbers, and lost animal information to help as much as they possibly can. They are just a bunch of animal lovers looking to make the world a better place for these pets.

Critter Shack Rescue is a non-profit organization that is looking for solutions to the large number of abandoned pets. Founded in 2002, they have helped thousands of pets find homes, get spayed or neutered, and provided education of pet care, pet safety, and so much more.

San Angelo Animal Shelter is the local animal shelter that takes in stray, abandoned, or lost pets. They do their best to find the owners, house the animals, and adopt them out to kind, loving families.
