The road to releasing a new album for Austrian Death Machine has been a little bumpier than what most acts endure. That’s due in part to the ongoing legal matters of frontman Tim Lambesis, who is awaiting trial on charges that he allegedly solicited a hitman to kill his estranged wife. But despite the legal concerns, Lambesis' latest album with Austrian Death Machine will finally arrive this spring.

The disc, titled 'Triple Brutal,' is now set to drop on April 1 via Artery Recordings. After completing two previous records of Arnold Schwarzenegger-inspired metal with the band, Lambesis crowd-funded the third disc via Indiegogo and those who contributed to the release will begin seeing the returns on March 28.

The album was initially tracked with contributions from members of Bleeding Through, God Forbid, The Faceless, Allegaeon, Impending Doom, Carnifex and more, but it is not known if anything has changed since the original recording. Royalties from sales of the album will go to the World Vision charitable organization.

In advance of the album's release, fans can check out the amped up rocker 'I'll Be Back' in the teaser promo above.

Lambesis, who also fronts As I Lay Dying, had his most recent murder-for-hire hearing delayed in mid-January. The rocker returned to court today (Feb. 6), but nothing of significance happened other than the scheduling of his next court appearance on Feb. 19.
