Law enforcement agencies from throughout Texas will be participating in an event to help round up people wanted for unpaid citations and missed court dates. Officials with the state are encouraging people to resolve their debt before the roundup.

The 'Great Texas Warrant Roundup' starts tomorrow, with over 300 different local and state agencies taking part. Once the roundup starts you can be arrested at any time or any place. This means they will try and find you at home, at work or school.

In addition to taking the risk of going to jail, anyone who has unpaid fines can have a hold placed on the renewal of their vehicle registration until the warrant is taken care of in court.

The ACLU is coming out against the roundup calling it a, 'shakedown of Texas' working poor.' It's also recommended that you lawyer up and I'm going to suggest 'The Texas Law Hawk.'
