In some recent and shocking news, Sleeping With Sirens' scheduled, sold-out show at Philadelphia's The Fillmore was cancelled due to a threatening note found at a venue. It came as a shock to both the fans and band, but luckily nobody was harmed and the band will be rescheduling the tour date.

While the actual contents of the note haven't been revealed, it seems to have been an extremely serious threat, due to police responding quickly after the venue learned of it. The crowd had already made their way inside the venue, and according to fan accounts on twitter, the audience was evacuated just before Sleeping With Sirens took the stage, and cops swarmed the venue.

The band is set to release their newest album Gossip, at the end of this week on Sept. 22 via Warner Bros. Records. The album has seen a fair number of singles already, their 80s tinged ballad "Legends" releasing back in July. The band have also released a second single, the anthemic and extremely catchy "Empire to Ashes."

Of the album, frontman Kellin Quinn says, “We finally captured the live experience with [producer David] Bendeth. We have the production, but there’s a rawness that comes through. Musically, I feel like it’s the first Sirens record that sounds specifically like us. We took chances, experimented, and continued to do what we do best: create art. It’s something new. It has an authentic sound that we’ve been working towards all this time.”
