Sixx: A.M. have released the lyric video for their new song ‘Stars,’ off the band’s forthcoming album ‘Modern Vintage,’ which will arrive on Oct. 7 via Eleven Seven Music.

In a recent teaser video, frontman James Michael previously called ‘Stars’ “a quintessential Sixx: A.M. song,” adding it’s “one of the best songs we’ve ever written.” In the track Michaels sings, “Do you wanna see heaven tonight / Underneath those lights / It would look so beautiful / Do you wanna see the stars before they fall, see the stars before they fall.” The song also features incendiary guitar work for DJ Ashba and is all held together by Nikki Sixx’s low-end bass playing.

Michael also talked about the band’s new album saying that 'Modern Vintage' is “a real celebration of a lot of different genres of music.” He added, “I think as you listen through the songs on this new record you’re gonna hear influences from all of us.” He concluded saying fans should “hear a lot of Queen influences” as well as ELO and “vocal arrangements that harkens back to those type of records.” The effort also features the band’s take on the Cars’ classic 'Drive."

‘Modern Vintage’ is available for pre-order now at iTunes and Amazon. As mentioned, the effort will arrive on Oct. 7. Click here for complete album track listing.
