Ryse: Son of Rome Video: The Fall

The folks at Crytek and Microsoft Studios have teamed up with Machinima and released a trailer for a new live-action series based on Ryse: Son of Rome.

The four-part series will premiere on Machinima on Nov. 5 and will set up the world you'll see in Ryse: Son of Rome. Fans will be able to follow a story told from the point of view of Marius Titus, a Roman soldier who's out on a quest for vengeance. Marius aims to track down the barbarians who were responsible for the death of his family.

According to the description on Xbox Wire, Marius must "confront the corruption, turmoil and depravity that marked the final days of Rome, and question whether he’s fighting for the empire’s honor or his own." Sounds like we're in for a good time.
