Pop Evil are coming off one of the biggest albums of their career as the Onyx disc generated the band scored a trio of chart-topping singles with "Trenches," "Deal With the Devil" and "Torn to Pieces." What will they do for an encore? The group has hit the studio to begin navigating their way through their fourth album, and they're teaming up with Loudwire to give the fans an exclusive preview.

In the clip above, the second episode of their "The Making of #PEIV" series, they guys talk a little about the approach and also show viewers a few moments from recording in the studio. Drummer Chachi Riot states, "The making of the new record is completely unlike anything Pop Evil has ever done." He later adds, "More than ever, you're really starting to hear the sound of what Pop Evil is."

The group decamped to Seattle's London Bridge studio to record the album with producer Adam Kasper, and in the clip they showcase a bit of the studio and run down some of the iconic bands who have recorded there.

You'll also catch Chachi laying down some drum parts and frontman Leigh Kakaty delivering some blistering vocals to a track. Watch it all play out in the video above. And look for Pop Evil returning to the road later this month, beginning with a May 30 show at the Machine Shop in Flint, Mich. Dates can be found here.
