Pokemon ORAS Trailer: Soaring Above Hoenn, Downloadable Demo

Take to the skies of the Hoenn region in this new trailer for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Also, learn how to opt-in for Pokemon ORAS' downloadable demo that will net you exclusive Pocket Monsters you can't get anywhere else.

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Pokemon ORAS that focuses on the Eon Pokemon, Latios and Latias. The special thing about these two Pocket Monsters is that they're able to Mega Evolve and you'll be able to soar through the skies of the Hoenn region while riding on their backs. This will allow you to encounter rare Flying-type Pokemon and encounter some special Legendaries you'd never be able to find on your feet. We also get to see Mega Pidgeot and Mega Beedrill in action, as well as the PokeNav Plus device, which helps you hunt down hard-to-find creatures.

The official Pokemon website announced that a special demo is coming for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. You'll need to sign up for a Pokemon Trainer Club account on the Pokemon website and opt-in to receive their newsletter by Oct. 20 in order to get a code for the demo, which should be emailed to you sometime later this month or in early November. There will be special Pokemon in the demo that will carry over to your full copy of ORAS upon its release that you can't get any other way.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will debut on Nov. 21 for Nintendo 3DS.
