The last time Periphery released an album, it landed them a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance for the opening track to 2016's Periphery III: Select Difficulty, "The Price Is Wrong." Time will tell if they get another Grammy nod, but what we do know is that their next album is in the bag and they've got a tour supporting headliners Dance Gavin Dance lined up.

The trek, which begins at the end of March, will also feature support from Don Broco, Hail the Sun and Covet and will hit 15 cities in the United States before coming to a close on April 20. See the full list of dates at the bottom of the page.

"It's been amazing to have such ample time off to write and record what we think is our favorite record to date, but after more than a year without touring we're all extremely excited to get back out there," states Periphery drummer Matt Halpern, adding, “We're very excited to play in some our favorite cities, we're stoked to be able to play in front of our fans again and it's always awesome to perform and tour alongside some of our favorite bands and friends, which is exactly what we get to do on this tour!”

As of now, Periphery have not revealed the title of their sixth studio album nor the release date.
