As members of some of rock's biggest acts, they've lived the "rockstar" lifestyle. Now this hard-hitting collective of rockers, who count stints with Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, the Scorpions and Guns N' Roses on their resumes, will go under the moniker Rockstar for their upcoming tour of Russia.

The group is led by frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens, who first came to fame with Judas Priest, but has since played with Iced Earth, Dio Disciples and Yngwie Malmsteen. On guitar is onetime Alice Cooper and Slash's Snakepit axeman Keri Kelli.

The drummer for this outfit will be Scorpions and Kingdom Come skinbeater James Kottak. On bass is Rudy Sarzo, who is best known for his stints with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot, though he's also played with Dio and Whitesnake. And finally, on keyboards is onetime Guns N' Roses collaborator Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis.

In a video interview, seen below, Owens says, "We all have such diverse backgrounds in so many different bands that we just want to get there and play Whitesnake and Alice Cooper and Dio and Priest and Guns N' Roses. So I think this project is just to go play for the fans with this special show with all these songs and all these bands."

Rockstar is expected to hit the road to play classic songs from their respective pasts during a week-long tour of Russia. The trek begins May 19 in Krasnodar, with stops in Rostov, Voronej, Penza and Saratov, before the tour ends May 28 in Moscow.
