After a bit of a break between albums, One Less Reason are back on the scene with their latest effort, The Memories Uninvited, which drops in stores today (Aug. 19). The band has been steadily gaining momentum with their current single "Break Me" and today the group is teaming up with Loudwire to exclusively debut the video for the song (watch above).

The clip takes on a cinematic feel, with a story about a young woman grieving the loss of her mother and dealing with a strained relationship with her father as she finds an outlet in becoming an MMA fighter. The video stars Kayla Wright in the main role and the song "Break Me" perfectly soundtracks her journey as she and her father attempt to find common ground.

Vocalist Cris Brown spoke to us about the song as part of an interview that will run soon on Loudwire. The singer says, "The song is basically about relationships as a whole. It doesn't have to be husband-wife, boyfriend-girlfriend. It's just kind of about how sometimes in life we just kind of always end up sharing the same emotions, whether it's the love-hate thing or not, and the song is about just picking up the pieces that fall behind and having someone to help you do that. We all need a little bit of help picking up the pieces that fall behind."

The band kept the video creation in house, with bassist Blake Heimach and Brown's studio partner John Falls directing, writing and producing the video, and the clip completes its cinematic run with closing credits.
