After Ozzy was booted from Black Sabbath in 1979, the vocalist went on to have a brilliant solo career. With that success, Ozzy found that there was life beyond even the most legendary bands, and he was able to rile up a depressed Max Cavalera to begin what would become Soulfly. Max also credits his wife, Gloria, for getting him back into music, and without the encouragement from both, Soulfly may have never come about.
