Marilyn Manson is just full of surprises this spring. In a span of weeks, the singer has been the subject in a wide variety of news stories, from casting The Wire actor Michael Kenneth Williams in his new music video, to being the victim of assault at a Denny’s. And then there was his fun proclamation that "cats should be presidents" and the announcement that he would play a hitman in the upcoming movie Let Me Make You a Martyr.

Are you ready for the latest fun Manson fact? The singer spent some time roller skating this weekend in Oklahoma. TMZ reports that his hitman movie was shooting scenes at roller skating rink, and even though Manson was not in those scenes, he headed to the rink to enjoy some quality skating time. Check out photos of Manson getting his skate on here.

This isn’t Manson’s first run-in (or should we say roll-in?) with skating. The tabloid outlet reported that the singer told the rink’s manager that he used to speed skate as a kid. We also want to remind you that Manson once had a cameo on the HBO comedy Eastbound & Down where he played a roller skating rink employee. We’ve pasted that clip below. If nothing else, the randomness of his appearance and Manson’s hair style in the video make it worth watching.

Manson is currently in between dates on his 'Hell Not Hallelujah' tour. He picks things up in Athens, Ga., on April 24. This summer Manson has lined up a co-headlining tour with the Smashing Pumpkins. The trek is being called 'The End Times' and kicks off in Concord, Calif., on July 7. We know it's too much to ask, but we would love for Manson to roller skate his way onto the stage to begin one of those performances. Check out a full listing of the co-headlining tour dates here.
