Man Would Rather Be In Prison Than Home With His Wife

Usually people rob a bank for money. Or maybe there's something in a safety deposit box with significant value. Well, a guy in Kansas City robber a bank for a completely different reason.

Larry Ripple walked in to a bank, robbed almost $3000 from it. But then this is where the story gets weird. Rather than walking out with the money, he just sat down in the middle of the lobby.

When asked why he robbed the bank and then just sat there. Larry responded by saying he just didn't want to go home to his wife. Think about that for a moment. Think of all the other places he could go on the planet to get away from his wife. Go to the porch. Go the the neighbors. Go to a movie. Go shopping. Heck, just go for a walk. A really, really long walk. Nope, he chose prison.

He has since been released and is due in court today and could get his wish. He faces up to 20 years in jail.
