Judge to Decide Whether to Allow Sex Expo in Dallas

A federal judge will decide if Dallas must allow organizers of a sex exposition to again rent the city-owned convention center for an event.

U.S. District Judge Sidney Fitzwater will now decided if the city of Dallas must allow organizers of the Exxxotica sex exposition to again rent the city-owned convention center for an event.

On Monday, the fededral judge heard oral arguments but he didn't immediately rule on the use of the Kay Bailey Hutchison center to Exxxotica. Last year about 15,000 people from all over the world attended the event held in Dallas, Texas.

Officials with Exxxotica are suing the mayor of Dalls and city council members because they voted to deny use of the venue. Officials with the city of Dalls claim the Exxxotica event that was held in 2015 was a sex business that broke laws regulating lewd conduct. The Dallas Police Depatment issued a statement saying officers did not witness any illegal activity.
