It seems like ages ago when Roger Goodell and the NFL suspended Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. So, just to refresh your memory, right after that, Jerry Jones came out and said that he was going to hold up Roger Goodell's contract extension, and that he'd sue if the extension went through. Oh, and Jones also said it had nothing to do with Elliott's suspension.

Well, now it looks like it's Roger Goodell's time to be petty. It's being reported that the Commissioner is going to fine the Cowboys' owner a whole crap load of money. For what? Ah, that gloriously vague "conduct detrimental to the league."

Goodell won't come out and say that he has a personal vendetta against Jones, but some other owners do believe that Jones crossed a line this past season and needs to pay for it. Just how much will he pay? That's not quite known yet, but it's being said that it's more than most of us will see in a lifetime.
