It's been a full decade since groove thrashers Incite unveiled their debut album, The Slaughter. Much like his dad, Max (ex-Sepultura, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy), frontman Richie Cavalera is one prolific dude, standing before the four-piece's fifth full length offering, Built to Destroy. The album won't be out until Jan. 25, but you can hear the new track, "Poisoned by Power," which is premiering right here at Loudwire, ahead of the release.

The song, a raucous three-and-a-half minutes of dismal tremolo-picked melodies and jagged chugging, features a guest vocal from Six Feet Under's Chris Barnes, doubling the bark behind Incite's fang-toothed bite. Check it out below.

“We’re pumped to give the metalheads another taste of what this album is all about – pure heavy metal! We’re honored to have Chris Barnes of Six Feet Under throw down his brutal pipes as a special guest on this track," said Richie Cavalera, adding, "This song is about powerful people screwing over the rest of us. It’s heavy, it’s got a killer breakdown and will definitely start the pit!”

Built to Destroy comes out Jan. 25 through Minus Head Records and can be pre-ordered at Bandcamp, Amazon or iTunes. The album was produced by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence) and mastered by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed).
