The studio that put us in the shoes of two out of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse has risen from the ashes to bring about Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age.

Crytek has announced the debut title of its new Crytek USA Corp. studio, Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. Fresh from unveiling its collaborative project with Deep Silver, Homefront: The Revolution, Crytek has decided to give yet another innovative studio a try with the creation of Crytek USA Corp. Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age is being developed by a team that primarily consists of Vigil Games, which was known for creating the first two Darksiders title. Vigil was also one of the studios that fell into jeopardy after THQ went bankrupt in late 2012.

This trailer shows that Hunt will have you fighting hordes of the undead and supernatural while maintaining a degree of camaraderie with the members of your team. Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age will be coming out for PC and is going to host a closed beta later this year. You can sign up for the beta here. The description for the trailer claims that there are also console versions of Horrors of the Gilded Age coming out with the PC version, but did not specify as to which specific platforms. We should learn more next week at E3.
