Honda Summer Clearance ‘Action Adventure’ 2012 Commercial – What’s the Song?

Are you screaming for a hot deal on a new car? Then you may understand the wisdom behind Honda’s use of an ’80s British metal classic for the latest commercial in its summer clearance ad campaign.

We’re talking about Judas Priest‘s 1982 hit ‘You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,’ which broke the top 70 of Billboard’s Hot 100 after it was released as a single from the band’s ‘Screaming for Vengeance’ album. The only song in the Priest catalog to crack the U.S. charts outside rock formats, it helped make ‘Vengeance’ their best-selling LP.

So what does this hard-charging AOR favorite have to do with sensible commuter cars? Probably not a heck of a lot.
