Halestorm Make History With No. 1 Spot on Active Rock Chart

Halestorm have become the first female fronted rock band ever to take the No. 1 spot on the Active Rock airplay chart with their single ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’ off their latest album ‘The Strange Case Of…’

The chart-topping achievement of ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’ follows the No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart by ‘The Strange Case Of…,’ which also cracked the Top 15 onto the Billboard 200 chart.

Lzzy Hale and the gang are currently on the road as part of the Mass Chaos tour with Godsmack and Staind, as well as playing various festivals and headlining gigs.

In our exclusive interview with frontwoman Lzzy Hale, before the album came out, she talked about ‘The Strange Case Of…’ by saying, “It’s definitely a step forward from the last record. What we wanted to do with this record was bridge the gap between our last one and what everybody keeps telling us what we sound like live or what they’ve experienced from a live show.”

She went on to say, “Coming to the end of it, you know making a record is always hell, it’s this good hell [laughs] that you have to go through. If it wasn’t hell we wouldn’t be so proud of it.” With all of these accomplishments and much more to come in the future, Halestorm have much to be proud of.
