Rosa’s Cafe Has Partnered Up with Meals for the Elderly this Thursday
I don't know about you, but I'll use any excuse to eat Mexican food, and I've got the best
excuse in the world to do just that this Thursday, March 26th. Rosa's Cafe, the Knickerbocker location only!, will be donating a portion of any meal you buy this Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. to Meals for the Elderly. Get all your friends, co-workers, and family together this Thursday and head to Rosa's for some excellent food and the opportunity to help a great San Angelo organization.
There are two ways you can make a donation at Rosa's Cafe:
- Tell your cashier that you want to make a donation to Meals for the Elderly
- Print the flyer below and take it in with you.
Meals for the Elderly is a non-profit organization that delivers hot meals to over 700 home bound and senior citizens 5 days a week, and provides for their weekend nutritional needs as well. They don't receive Federal funding, but instead rely on the generosity of all of us in the Concho Valley. Home bound senior citizens means that for whatever reason, they are unable to leave their home to do that basic needs for survival, such as grocery shopping. There are times that there are no neighbors, family members, or spouses that can help complete this task, so Meals for the Elderly helps fill in the gaps. No one should go hungry, least of all those who may not be able to help themselves. Thank you so much for the support and generosity in helping provide for the elderly in need!
