Though Rockstar hasn't stated any official plans to bring Grand Theft Auto 5 to the PC, new reports have surfaced claiming the sequel will hit the platform next year.

According to Eurogamer, the PC version of GTA5 is purportedly coming out in the first quarter of 2014. Multiple sources have hinted at Rockstar's plans, though there's still been no word from the publisher about such a version.

Earlier this year, possible PC plans were discussed by Nvidia, though the company later backtracked on knowing anything about Rockstar's intentions for Grand Theft Auto. Previously, Grand Theft Auto 4 did get released on PC, though it was seven months after the console versions.

With a PC version comes the possibility for many, many mods, but whether or not Rockstar will have all the kinks of GTA Online worked out by next year remains to be seen. Still, until Rockstar makes it official, PC players shouldn't get their hopes up too much.
