Swedish heavy metal band Ghost (now known as Ghost B.C. in the U.S. because of legal issues) have not only announced their name change, but also the release date of their upcoming full-length 'Infestissumam' along with a North American tour.

Ghost B.C. have been building a cult-like fan base since the release of their 2010 debut album, 'Opus Eponymous.' The band comprises various nameless ghouls and spiritual leader Papa Emeritus II, performing conceptualized Satanic church music mixed as a unique and soulfully evil mass. Although Papa Emeritus contributed vocals to the first Ghost B.C. album, he was usurped by his successor onstage during a recent performance in Sweden.

Ghost B.C. are shaping up to be one of this year's definitive bands. With a tremendous underground thirst for new material, fans of Ghost B.C. were blown away by the band's single 'Secular Haze' from the group's upcoming sophomore full-length, 'Infestissumam,' which will come out April 9 on Loma Vista Recordings.

The album will be unleashed just in time for Ghost B.C.'s upcoming dates, which will certainly prove to be one of this year's most anticipated tours. Taking atmospheric heavy metal / doom act Ides of Gemini with them, Ghost B.C. will embark on their 'Haze Over North America' tour beginning April 12 at the 2013 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Ghost B.C. will reveal their theatrical and pious stage show to North America this year for the first time since supporting Opeth and Mastodon in 2012.
