The rock world has really been representing when it comes to reality TV shows lately. First former Kittie bassist Jenn Arroyo moved into the ‘Big Brother’ house and now bassist James LoMenzo who has played with Megadeth, Black Label Society and White Lion throughout his career, is joining the new season of ‘The Amazing Race.’

‘The Amazing Race’ now on Season 21, pairs up 11 teams of two to compete against each other in a challenging race around the globe. In the intro video LoMenzo introduces himself to the viewers as a rock musician, saying, “I’ve been in many bands for about 30 years – White Lion back in the 80s, I played with everyone from Ozzy Osbourne to Slash and people like that.”

LoMenzo’s teammate for the excursion will be Mark “Abba” Abbattista, who is a friend of LoMenzo’s and an entertainment lawyer dealing primarily with the music industry. Abba took a moment to describe himself in the team intro video as well, saying, “I’m rude, I’m lewd, I’m irreverent at times, you know, be different, have fun.”

LoMenzo and Abba will go up against quite a cast of contestants from all walks of life ranging from a pair of goat farmers to monster truck racers and professional lumberjacks and even a pair of Chippendales performers.
