Five Finger Death Punch and Killswitch Engage top the bill for the Trespass America summer U.S. tour. The hard-rocking lineup for the jaunt also includes Trivium, Pop Evil, Emmure, God Forbid and Battlecross, while the tour itself promises to be a “theme-park-thrill-ride for metalheads.”

The trek, which is being presented by Metal Hammer magazine, kicks off with July 13 gig in Broomfield, Colo., and runs through an Aug. 28 show in Los Angeles.

Five Finger Death Punch will be out in support of their 2011 disc ‘American Capitalist,’ while Killswitch Engage recently reunited with singer Jesse Leach and are working on a new album.

5FDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory, who helped organize the trek, says, “Heavy music wants its place back in the limelight, so get ready, because we are coming, and we are coming in numbers.”

He adds, “When you walk through the Trespass America gate, you will be in a different territory, a new environment. You’re not just coming to see a band.  It’s going to be a traveling circus that has all the attraction and excitement that creates an experience.  We wanted to build the biggest stage we could and make this festival as visually unforgettable … We want to make Trespass America a theme-park-thrill-ride for metalheads.”
