The moment that Square Enix fans with PlayStation 4 consoles have been waiting for has come: the release details for Final Fantasy 14 have been unveiled.

Square Enix will be releasing the game on the PlayStation 4 on April 14, 2014, with servers going online the same day. You can pick up the massively multiplayer online role-playing game in either a Standard or Collector's Edition, with pre-orders starting on Jan. 27.

A pre-order will net you a Mog Cap and a Cait Sith doll, as well as Early Access participation on April 11. If you opt for the Collector's Edition, you'll get an art book, a music CD, art cards, a security token and in-game bonus items. If you're already playing the game on PC and have registered your copy of Final Fantasy 14 Collector's Edition or Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn's Collector's Edition, or if you've upgraded digitally to the Collector's Edition, then you'll get access to the Fat Chocobo Mount and the Wind-Up Moogle Minion for free.

Not convinced yet? Well, you can try out the game when the Beta Test launches on PlayStation 4 on Feb. 22. If you've got the PlayStation 3 version, you'll be able to transfer your account to the PlayStation 4 at no charge.

The Standard Edition will run for $39.99 while the Collector's Edition will only be available through the Square Enix Online Store for $79.99. Peep the contents of the Collector's Edition below to make an informed decision about which version you'd like.
