The shooting death of teen Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson has been capturing headlines around the country for months. On Monday night, a decision came down about whether or not Wilson would be indicted for his actions -- he was not.

This decision was one of the more polarizing rulings in recent history. Despite a public on-air plea from President Obama, protests and confrontations between police and citizens in the Missouri town led to a chaotic evening with riots, arson, looting and destruction.

As expected, many people have weighed in with their thoughts on the decision. Disturbed frontman David Draiman was one of the more vocal advocates for peace in a series of tweets online. Draiman also called out the mainstream media for their role in the escalation of the situation. Tom Morello, All That Remains' Phil Labonte and others also offered their two cents on the ruling and its aftermath.
