Far Cry 4’s Arena Mode Might Upset PETA

The gladiator-like, human vs. animal Arena Mode of Far Cry 4 will have you taking on the Kyrati, tigers and bears in a huge arena filled with bloodthirsy onlookers, oh my.

Ubisoft has revealed a new video depicting Far Cry 4's new game mode, Arena. As you can see in the provided video, Arena is a Gladiator-style mode where players square off against animals and other fighters as people look on and cheer. With Pagan Min as the country's dictator, it should be no surprise that sadistic styles of entertainment would be embraced by his followers. We're sure that fighting bears and tigers without weapons is going to keep us on our toes, and is likely to keep PETA activists petitioning outside Ubisoft's offices.

Far Cry 4 will launch on Nov. 18 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PS3.
