We get a more in-depth look at combat, Fade Rifts, party conversation and much more during this 14-minute-long gameplay video of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Just as BioWare recently gave us a 16-minute-long demonstration of Dragon Age: Inquisition outdoors, this next demo showcases the insides of Redcliffe Castle. Narrated again by creative director Mike Laidlaw, we get to see the female Qunari mage inquisitor take her party throughout the garrisons of Redcliffe Castle to take on a nefarious sorcerer. The pause-function of combat is explained, showing how we can set up entire strategies on the fly based on location, enemy layout and where you want each party member positioned.

We also get to see the return of the Orlesian bard, Leliana. Unfortunately, she was held captive and tortured by this boss mage, and since you ordered her to check it out, she's not too happy with you. We also get to see how the Fade Rift mechanics work, where you must close these portals while your party members protect you. Hopefully, Leliana comes out alive from that final incursion.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will set you out to close the Breach on Oct. 7 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
