Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney dislocated his shoulder over weekend. According to TMZ, Carney sustained the injuries after getting knocked down by an ocean wave while in St. Barts. He was then rushed to the hospital where he was given anesthesia and a doctor reset his shoulder. The stickman took to Instagram to share photos of his injury with fans, and you can check them out below.

It seems Carney is trying to make light of the painful ordeal though, as he’s captioned one of the pictures, “Tune into my new Lifetime movie: Dislocated shoulder.” As you can see, he’s also stamped each photo with an out-of-date graphic for the  Lifetime Television Network.

According to WebMD, the recovery period for a dislocated shoulder can take anywhere from three to 12 weeks. We previously reported that the Black Keys were hoping to head back into the studio this month to record new tracks. They also have tour dates on the horizon. In five weeks, the Black Keys are set to play the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to Bob Dylan (on Feb. 6) and in seven weeks they start the international leg of their 'Turn Blue' World Tour (on Feb. 16.)
