Watch Behind the Scenes Footage of Hellyeah’s ‘Hush’ Video
It's one of the more powerful clips you'll see this year, and Hellyeah are now giving viewers a chance to look behind the scenes of their recent "Hush" video shoot.
In the clip above, you get to see Chad Gray and his bandmates filming their performance parts for the video, while the primary actors also showcase some of their stunt work for the more violent scenes in the clip.
As was previously reportedly, the song was penned by Gray about some of the domestic abuse issues he suffered growing up. The vocalist shared his story to let others know that they are not alone in their plight and that they can bring awareness to the subject by sharing with others.
Hellyeah initially released the single during "No More Week," as part of the campaign's awareness to help stop sexual assault and domestic violence. Earlier this month, the band released the official music video (seen below), which centers on what appears to be the perfect picture frame family -- that is until the husband turns violent smacks around his wife and kid.
The band has taken the association one step further and teamed with Indiegogo to launch a campaign to raise funds for the A Call to Men violence-prevention initiative. The group is hoping to raise $10,000. At press time, the band was already approaching $7,000 with 24 days left to go.
