Batman: Arkham Knight Launches in January 2015, Says Kevin Conroy

The iconic voice of Bruce Wayne has said that Batman: Arkham Knight will be released in January 2015.

CVG reports that Kevin Conroy, the unforgettable voice behind Batman throughout 'Batman: The Animated Series' and Rocksteady's Arkham series, has said that Batman: Arkham Knight will be launching in January. Conroy has been portraying Bruce Wayne and the Dark Knight since The Animated Series debuted in 1993. The veteran voice actor detailed Arkham Knight's release date changes in an interview with Groovey.TV (5:02 in the provided video), explaining that the game was originally meant to launch this past January and was pushed back a full year for additional development.

"I have a massive game you might have heard of called Arkham Knight -- a little indie game," Conroy joked. "It was supposed to come out in January, we've been working on it for a year and a half and it's still not done. So it's going to come out next January."

Conroy mentions that he has a lot of documentary work planned after Arkham Knight's launch. Expect to hear Batman's voice narrating for the Discovery Channel in a few shark-related projects.

Batman: Arkham Knight is going to close Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Hopefully, the iconic voice of Batman wasn't lying when it came to that January 2015 launch window. Until Rocksteady and Warner Bros. make an official statement though, we won't try to get our hopes up too high.
