ASU Class of 2014 Hall of Fame Nominations

The Angelo State Athletic Department is accepting nominees for the 2014 class of Hall of Honor inductees. People can nominate student-athletes, coaches or others who have had a significant impact on Angelo State, Angelo State College or San Angelo College Athletics by filling out the online nomination form.
This will be the first time that consideration has been given to contributions by student-athletes or coaches from Angelo State College or San Angelo College. The Hall of Honor Ceremony will also change from a biennial induction to an annual induction.

For student-athletes to be eligible for nomination to the Hall of Honor they must be five or more years removed from their career at Angelo State, Angelo State College or San Angelo College as a student-athlete, must have graduated or left ASU, ASC or SAC in good academic standing and must have participated a minimum of two years at ASU, ASC or SAC.

Other Individuals eligible for nomination are those who have had an outstanding career and have had a direct and significant impact on ASU, ASC or SAC Athletics programs. An ASU, ASC or SAC staff or faculty member is not eligible for consideration until his/her direct service to the intercollegiate athletics program has ended.

While athletic achievement and involvement is of prime importance, moral character and good citizenship of student candidates during both undergraduate and post-graduate years are to be considered.

The selection committee will meet in October to review nominations and the date of the Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony and Dinner will be announced at a later time.
