It's been 20 years since 36 Crazyfists independently released their debut album, In the Skin, and the Alaskan alt-metal outfit has been going strong ever since. 2017 saw their eighth full length offering, Lanterns, hit the shelves and now they're premiering the video for "Wars to Walk Away From" here at Loudwire.

The video showcases the pulsing energy 36 Crazyfists bring to the stage with a pre-dawn performance. Surrounded by the misty morning air, the band rips through the driving verse, countered by Brock Lindow's paranoid, unnerving delivery that seamlessly transitions to emphatic and anthemic over the chorus, all while the bass clanks away with a forceful tone and even more muscular grooves.

"We had a blast doing our new video for 'Wars to Walk Away From' in the early hours of a nice brisk fall morning in Virginia with director Justin Reich and his killer crew," began Lindow. "Capturing the live sense of the band as we ripped through a song about the journey of leaving what’s behind you as far as you can and envisioning what’s in front of you with Northern eyes...," he trailed off when describing the meaning behind the single.

Lanterns is out now on Spinefarm Records and fans can snag their copy of the album at Amazon or digitally through iTunes. Look for 36 Crazyfists on the road in Europe starting in January and to see a list of all upcoming tour dates, head to the band's Facebook page.
