On Monday, December 2, 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m., K9 Officer J. Fincher received a message from Midland Police Department in reference to a stolen Silver Camaro that was possibly in San Angelo.  The suspect listed in the message was Chancee Neatherlin.
Officer J. Fincher located the silver Camaro and was able to stop it in the 2300 block of Sherwood Way. Officer J. Fincher, along with K9 Sergeant D. Egger and Officer B. Spencer, took the occupants of the Camaro into custody without incident.  The driver was later identified as Armando Ruiz and the passenger later identified as Chancee Neatherlin.

While searching the vehicle, approximately $600 in cash was found in the front passenger area. Also located in the vehicle were a digital scale, a glass pipe, and several bags commonly used for illegal narcotics.

Officer P.  Massey conducted a physical search of Neatherlin and located a syringe in her coat.

A records check showed Ruiz had 17 outstanding city arrest warrants.

Armando Ruiz and Chancee Neatherlin were  transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Ruiz was also booked for the 17 city warrants.
